Drinking water has many benefits when it comes to keeping a healthy lifestyle. Water is essential to your body and plays a vital role in allowing your organs to fully function. Without water, the body will eventually shut down which will have detrimental effects. The consumption of water also facilitates absorption and digestion of food. It balances the acidity in your stomach, and makes it easier for food to pass through your body with little indigestion. When you get a tummy ache, you most likely need to drink some water!!! In addition, water helps circulate our blood and carry nutrients to the rest of our body. It makes it easier for us to eliminate unwanted toxins and assist in weight loss. Most importantly, drinking plenty of water prevents dehydration. Drinkng water daily is important for our mental and physical health. Eight glasses of water are recommended for consumption daily. Following this recommendation will guarantee a healthier you, mind and body!
